Elton Bash (b. 1950) Spread
Biography
Elton Bash was born in Birmingham in1950. At the age of 19 he attended Birmingham College of Art in the Department of Fine Art. After a year travelling in France, from 1972 to 1973, he studied as a postgraduate student at the Chelsea School of Art. From1974 to 1976 he was a Scholar in Painting at the British School at Rome and had his first solo exhibition there in 1976. In 1979 he was part of the ’55 Wapping Artists’ exhibition in London. He married Elaine Gloria Kowalsky, printmaker and campaigner, in 1978.
